A stage designed for your hall, not for a photograph online
The design is built on ceiling height, stage width, the couple’s entrance line and where the cameras stand, so what you approve is what actually appears in the room.
Starting from 2,500 AED
A kosha is the bridal stage and its backdrop — the drapes, florals, lighting and seating the couple sits on in front of the guests. Zaina designs the stage within the wedding’s overall direction, puts competing build quotes side by side for you and runs the install at the venue. Planning fees start from AED 2,500.
The outcome
The design is built on ceiling height, stage width, the couple’s entrance line and where the cameras stand, so what you approve is what actually appears in the room.
We send one specification — dimensions, florals, lighting and setup hours — to more than one builder, so the numbers you compare are quoting the same thing.
Lighting decides how the stage reads in photographs. Loads, positions and colours are agreed with the venue and the supplier in advance rather than tested in the final hour.
The venue’s loading and setup window is matched to the builder’s schedule, and we stay on site until the stage is handed over complete, before guests come in.
How it works
Establish the format, guest count and venue, and measure the stage area and the couple’s entrance route.
Build the design direction: drapes or arches, florals, furniture, Arabic calligraphy and lighting.
Send one specification to competing builders and lay their quotes side by side for you.
Fix the design and price in a written quote, and confirm lighting loads and power points with the venue.
Agree the install and dismantle window with venue management and the rest of the vendor schedule.
Lead the install on the day and take handover of the finished stage before guests arrive.

Frequently asked questions
The stage itself is a supplier invoice and moves with dimensions, fresh or artificial florals, the scale of the lighting and the install hours, so no single honest number exists before the venue and design are known. What is published in advance is Zaina’s fee: from AED 2,500 for Small Occasions and from AED 4,900 for day-of coordination. We compare build quotes for you before any commitment.
Zaina designs the stage and manages its delivery, and does not invoice for building or hiring it. We write the specification, collect quotes from builders working to the same dimensions and materials, compare them with you, then run the install on site. That separation is what keeps the comparison fair and keeps the planning fee distinct from the decor cost.
Yes. The real difference between a home and a hall is ceiling height, door width and available power. We measure all three before approving a design, because a stage built for a ballroom may not fit through a house door or hang from a domestic ceiling. After measuring we choose between an arch, a drape backdrop or a floor-standing design.
A wedding kosha is larger and taller and is read from further away, because the hall is bigger and the guest list longer. A katb ketab or engagement stage is closer to a designed corner: the signing table and a backdrop scaled to the room. Both follow the same design principle, but dimensions, budget and the right package differ.
Confirm the venue first, then start the stage design at least two to three months before the wedding. That allows time to collect build quotes and review dimensions and lighting with the venue without rush fees. For November to March, start earlier: the better builders are booked out against the same wedding dates.
